Poulpy was initially incubated by PhantomZone with grants from the Ethereum Foundation and ENS Foundation. PhantomZone funded the library’s development up to version 0.5.0 as well as the Ethereum PIR project built on it. Poulpy is now actively supported, funded, and developed by Ideal Rings Lab together with other external contributors.
